ALPI’s Spanish language programs

Description

Are designed as immersion programs for language learners of any level. Program participants quickly befriend many of the Dominican English language students currently attending classes at ALPI. Classes are interactive and focus on the listening and speaking skills couched in their appropriate cultural contexts. ALPI faculty use media, music, role-plays, and interaction together with a foundation of grammar and vocabulary building activities. The “standard” Spanish program offers 20 hours/week, where the “intensive” program 30 hours/week. Both programs come complete with social activities, participation in the popular “Social Club”, weekly guided excursions in and around the city, and homestay living accommodations. Classes are available for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced; conversational to accent reduction. ALPI takes a communicative approach with a focus on the listening and speaking skills.
